When a notification arrives
Push notifications work in the BakePilot mobile app for Android and iOS. They go to the people in your team who have the app installed and are signed in. We send them in two situations: when an order is confirmed (the “Confirmed” status) and when a temperature reading in HACCP falls outside the allowed range.
- “New order” - with the customer name and pickup date; the person who confirmed it is not notified
- Confirming many orders at once with “Change status” - one combined notification
- “HACCP alert” - the device name, the measured temperature and the allowed range; goes to the whole team
How to turn them on
There is nothing to set up in the panel. All it takes is for the employee to install the BakePilot mobile app, sign in to their account and allow notifications on the first launch. From then on their phone receives your company's notifications.

Tip: If notifications do not arrive, first check the app permissions in the phone settings - the operating system can silence them when saving battery.
What is not available
Notifications go only to your team. BakePilot does not send anything directly to the bakery's customer: there is no automatic text message or email like “Your order is ready”. There are also no reminders about an upcoming pickup date and no notification about an order change during production. We say this plainly so that you do not plan your work around a feature we do not provide.

No. Push notifications go only to your team. Contacting the customer stays on your side.

No, they require the mobile app for Android or iOS. In the browser you will see changes only after refreshing the view.
