Cookie Policy
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Polish version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy. Read the Polish version: https://bakepilot.pl/cookies
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember preferences, keep you signed in and analyze traffic on the website.
2. Which cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies (required)
Necessary for the website to work. They cannot be switched off. They include:
- sb-*-auth-token - the sign-in session in the application (BakePilot's own first-party cookie, secure)
- bp_consent - your cookie choice, shared by bakepilot.pl and app.bakepilot.pl (valid for 12 months); on the website we also store your choice in browser storage under the key cookie-consent-v2, and in the application in the cookie and browser storage bp-cookie-consent
- bp_lang - the selected application language (valid for 12 months)
- bp_lang_explicit - the language selected on the sign-in screen before you sign in (valid for 15 minutes)
- bp_lang_sync - a marker that the language on this device matches your account (valid for 1 hour)
Analytics cookies (with consent)
They help us understand how users use the website. We use:
- Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) - _ga, _ga_*, _gid - IP anonymization enabled, data retained for 14 months
Advertising cookies (with consent)
Used to show more relevant ads and to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Google Ads (via Google Tag Manager) - remarketing and conversion measurement for Google ads
- Meta Pixel (Facebook) - _fbp (90 days), _fbc (90 days) - used for remarketing and measuring conversions from Meta ads. Pixel ID: 1194655065912769
Under the same consent, after registration, a purchase or submission of a contact form, our server sends Meta an event (Conversions API) with SHA-256 hashes of the e-mail address and phone number, and on registration also with the values of the _fbp and _fbc cookies and browser data. Without consent to advertising cookies we do not send such an event. Likewise, we send the registration and purchase events to Google Analytics from the server only with consent to analytics cookies.
Measurement in e-mail messages
A tracking pixel (an invisible image) and redirecting links through our domain allow us to check whether a message was opened and which link was clicked - this reads information from your device, similarly to cookies. In transactional messages (registration, password reset, invoices, data export, replies to tickets, reminders) measurement is disabled. In the newsletter we use it only with your consent; without it, messages contain no pixel and no redirected links. You can also block measurement by turning off automatic image loading in your e-mail program.
