Commitment to accessibility
KamikStudio Patryk Kowalski (the operator of BakePilot) makes every effort to ensure that the bakepilot.pl website is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of developing the website, not a one-off action.
Conformance status
The bakepilot.pl website conforms to the WCAG 2.2 standard at level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). This standard is also the basis of the requirements of the European Accessibility Act.
What we provide
- Keyboard operation - the whole website can be used without a mouse; the active element is clearly highlighted, and at the start of every page there is a “Skip to content” shortcut.
- Screen readers - content, menus, dialogs and forms are correctly described so that assistive technologies can read them (e.g. VoiceOver, NVDA).
- Readability and contrast - text colors meet the required contrast ratios, and the page remains readable when zoomed in.
- Forms - fields have labels and autocomplete hints, and submission confirmations are also announced to assistive technologies.
- Reduced motion - if you turn on the “reduce motion” option in your system settings, the website switches off unnecessary effects.
How to adjust your browser to your needs
Some accessibility settings are controlled on your device, and our website respects them:
- Text zoom - the Ctrl/Cmd and “+” shortcut in the browser; the page layout adapts to the larger size.
- Reducing animations - macOS: Settings → Accessibility → Display → “Reduce motion”; Windows: Settings → Accessibility → Visual effects.
- Screen reader - VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA or Narrator (Windows), TalkBack (Android).
Known limitations
We are working on full accessibility of the entire website. Currently known limitations:
- On small screens, the plan comparison table may require horizontal scrolling.
- Additional verification with automated tools and tests with users of assistive technologies are in progress - we will gradually implement the issues they reveal.
- Content or tools embedded from external services may not fully meet accessibility requirements.
Date of preparation and assessment method
This statement was prepared on 29 May 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by the BakePilot team (a review of the code and content against the WCAG 2.2 AA criteria). The statement will be updated as the website develops.
