What BakePilot is and who it's for
BakePilot is complete bakery management software - from taking orders, through costing and inventory management, to issuing invoices through KSeF (Poland's National e-Invoicing System). Built by pastry shop owners for pastry shop owners.
What is BakePilot?
BakePilot is SaaS (a web app in the browser) dedicated to pastry shops, bakeries and bakery shops. It brings 14 business modules together in one system - orders, products, recipes, the cost calculator, ingredient inventory, customer CRM, production calendar, Kanban, daily reports, event quotes, HACCP (GHP/GMP), the cake configurator, analytics and invoicing with the KSeF integration.
Instead of juggling Excel, order notebooks and a WhatsApp group with your staff, you have one place you can reach from any device. A computer in the office, a tablet in the pastry shop, a phone on a delivery - everywhere you see the same, current data.
We keep the data in a Supabase database, and each pastry shop's data is separated from the others at the database level. Automatic backups, encryption, GDPR compliance.

Where did BakePilot come from?
Kamila Kowalska and Patryk Kowalski have run the PyziPyzi pastry shop in Kalisz, Poland, since May 2018. Like most craftsmen, at first they managed everything in notebooks and Excel - orders, costs, purchasing, staff pay.
Over time chaos crept in: orders got lost between the notebook and WhatsApp, ingredient prices went up while nobody updated the recipes, fixed costs were estimated by eye, and invoices were made by hand in a separate program.
In 2025 Patryk (with an IT background from KamikStudio) started building BakePilot - first for his own pastry shop, then for other pastry chefs struggling with the same problems. Every feature you see in the app was created in response to a real problem we had ourselves.
It is a system built by pastry chefs for pastry chefs - and that is exactly why it works.
