Orders from your website go straight into BakePilot.

Do you have your own website with an order form, or an online store? Connect them to BakePilot and orders and customers go straight into the system. You generate API keys in Settings, and the interactive documentation guides you step by step.

Available from the Podstawowy (Starter) plan - from 98 PLN/month + VAT.

API keys generated in Settings

An administrator generates an API key in “Settings” > “API keys”. The key starts with bp_ and is shown only once, when it is generated - security comes first. There is a limit of 120 requests per minute per key, and if you need more, just contact our team.

  • Generate keys in “Settings” > “API keys”
  • Key with the bp_ prefix, shown only once
  • 120 requests per minute per key
  • Revoke keys at any time
  • Available from the Profesjonalny (Professional) plan

Orders and customers straight from your website

The REST API with JSON responses lets you create and read orders and customers, and read the product catalog. When submitted, the form on your website immediately creates an order in BakePilot, with no retyping from emails. The API also works with automation tools such as Zapier or Make.

  • Create and read orders and customers
  • Read the product catalog
  • Orders from your website form go straight into the system
  • Automations through Zapier, Make and similar tools

Interactive documentation (Swagger)

The API documentation is not a wall of text: it is an interactive Swagger UI at app.bakepilot.pl/api/v1/docs. An always up-to-date list of endpoints with required fields and examples. Your developer can authorize with a key and run test requests straight from the browser, without writing a single line of code.

  • Always up-to-date specification, generated directly from the API
  • Sample requests and responses for every endpoint
  • Test requests straight from the browser
  • Publicly available, so your developer can check it before implementation

iCal calendar and Android app

Integrations are more than the API. You sync orders live with your phone's calendar through an iCal link, which works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook. And the official BakePilot Android app with push notifications is waiting on Google Play. On an iPhone you use BakePilot in the browser, and an iOS version is in the works.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes the API?

From the Profesjonalny (Professional) plan up (also in the Mistrzowski (Master) plan and during the trial period). The Android app is available on every plan at no extra cost.

Do I have to be a developer to use the API?

You don't have to use the API at all: every BakePilot feature is available in the app. The API is an option for integrations, such as connecting your own website, online store or automations. It is usually set up by a developer or an agency.

Where can I find the API documentation?

The interactive documentation (Swagger) is publicly available at app.bakepilot.pl/api/v1/docs. To run requests, all you need is an API key generated in Settings.
